Demand Planning Manager
Job Summary
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Forecast Management (40%): Manage the consolidation of the sales unit forecast. Prepare unit and dollar sales estimates. Lead the S&OP process for Demand Planning.
- Supply Chain Collaborator (25%): Provide updates on significant forecast changes. Assist Supply Planning and Manufacturing in managing inventories. Develop statistical stocking strategies.
- S&OP Leadership (25%): Represent Demand Planning in S&OP meetings. Ensure efficacy of the Demand Plan and optimal customer fulfillment. Lead and manage team Analysts, Planners, and Specialists.
- Other/As Needed (10%): Assist in designing and implementing strategic shifts in forecasting processes.
Education and Experience Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Operations / Supply Chain Management required
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Business is a plus
- 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain required
- APICS CPIM Certification preferred
Required Skills
- Extensive functional knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and related areas
- Experience leading projects and/or business teams or providing key technical expertise
- Operations experience in consumer products industry preferred
- Strong project management experience
- Hands-on experience with planning software
- Experience in presenting to skip level management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prepare executive level presentations
- Former managerial experience with proven team leadership/management skills required
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Proven track record of successfully working with all levels within the organization
- Experience working with external clients

Work Environment
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment
- Hybrid schedule: on-site Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday and Friday
Pay Range
Pay Range: $106,115 to $166,753.
This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
