About the Role

The SIOP Demand Planning Manager will oversee the regional Consensus Demand Plan for the assigned Business Unit (BU). This role manages the regional demand planning process and provides strategic direction to continuously enhance demand planning capabilities, specifically for North America CHVAC demand planning, which includes revenue of over $1B.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop an 18-month consensus demand plan for the assigned BU through the monthly SIOP cycle.
  • Partner with stakeholders across teams to capture all inputs for the demand plan and ensure adjustments and improvements to forecasting models and methodologies are implemented.
  • Integrate firm backlog, order pipeline, bookings forecast, statistical forecasting, portfolio management, NPI, market intelligence, and other product demand signals to create a consensus demand forecast.
  • Coordinate cross-functional discussions to document and challenge Demand Plan assumptions and refine the forecast.
  • Analyze performance and metrics to identify causes of forecast error and bias, then develop and implement plans to correct errors.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry dynamics, and customer behavior to capture opportunities and identify demand changes.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align demand planning initiatives with overall business strategies and goals, ensuring alignment between revenue and demand plans.
  • Understand the drivers of demand changes, customers, revenue impacts, and potential effects on downstream processes.
  • Lead the SIOP Demand Reviews, prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios for presentation, guide final decision-making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate.
  • Create SIOP Demand Review minutes, communicate key conclusions to stakeholders, and follow up on actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to advance demand planning and forecasting process capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain (S&OP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, Scheduling).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of S&OE, IBP, and/or S&OP with implementation experience.
  • MBA or master's degree in business or equivalent.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with demand planning tools.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Kinaxis, and PowerPoint.

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 and $192,000.00. Factors affecting pay within this range include skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
