Demand Planning Analyst
This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring orders, forecasts, and delivery commitments are managed accurately and efficiently. It is an entry-level opportunity for someone seeking growth in supply chain, operations, or commercial leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customer accounts.
- Handle order entry, order maintenance, and open order tracking.
- Review customer forecasts and demand plans to support production and inventory planning.
- Monitor delivery schedules and proactively communicate potential delays or supply issues.
- Lead customer update meetings and coordinate issue resolution.
- Analyze order, forecast, and fulfillment data to identify trends and risks.
- Support new product launches and customer onboarding efforts.
- Prepare reports on account performance, service levels, and forecast accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.
Skills
- Customer account management and relationship building
- Order management and customer service experience
- Forecasting, demand planning, or SIOP/S&OP exposure
- Supply chain, logistics, or operations knowledge
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer accounts
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
- Data analysis and reporting skills (Power BI a plus)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with planning, operations, quality, and supply chain teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in customer service, supply chain, operations, account management, or a related field
- Manufacturing or medical device industry experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred), Excel, and Power BI is a plus
Work Environment
The role is based in an office environment and will initially require full-time onsite presence for the first 6 months for training. After training, the position may transition to a hybrid or fully remote setup. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The dress code is business casual.
Pay
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year.
