Demand Planner
About the role
Eaton’s Data Center division is currently seeking a Demand Planner to join our team. This position is hybrid with preference for this person to be in Raleigh NC or Woodridge, IL. Will consider remote within the US.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer inputs.
- Lead demand review activities within the SIOP process, analyzing forecast changes, risks, and opportunities, and recommending actions to meet service and inventory targets.
- Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and key demand drivers; identify root causes and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reporting on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and planning assumptions to leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to incorporate promotions, new program assumptions, customer commitments, and market intelligence into forecasts.
- Maintain accurate demand planning and item master data within the ERP and planning systems.
- Support inventory optimization by balancing forecast accuracy, service levels, and working capital objectives.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by developing ramp-up/ramp-down forecasts and managing lifecycle transitions and phase-in/phase-out plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) years of demand planning experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
- ERP Experience, SAP and Kinaxis
- CPIM or other supply chain certification
- Experience in a supply chain buying, planning, or scheduling role
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts

Salary Information
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
