About the role

A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, you will spend your day analyzing inventory performance and ensuring alignment between incoming materials and production needs. You’ll run reports, monitor inventory movement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and optimize stock levels. A key part of your day will include participating in meetings, providing insights on inventory composition, and supporting data-driven decision-making. You’ll also troubleshoot issues and help improve inventory control processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory, including turnover rates, forecast accuracy, and carrying costs
  • Utilize forecasting and data analysis tools to model demand and support inventory planning decisions
  • Identify and implement inventory reduction initiatives in collaboration with supply chain, engineering, and operations teams
  • Ensure accurate execution of material cut-over plans
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, system reconciliation, and SAP issue resolution
  • Develop and drive inventory policies and processes to optimize investment and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or related logistics functions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office (Salesforce.com is a plus)

Qualifications
