What To Expect Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. The role of the Residential Energy Demand Generation Team is core to this mission as we develop resources and lead programs to increase demand and ensure we and our partners hit installation targets. Tesla is looking for a dynamic Demand Generation Specialist to join our North America team in Palo Alto, CA. This role will focus on North America events and marketing operations and require meticulous planning, cross-functional communication, and execution of multiple consecutive industry conferences and regional events. This role will also facilitate various budgetary processes and fulfillment of global marketing-specific product allocations. To succeed, the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be highly organized, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, they should have a passion for renewable energy and be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. What You'll Do Lead the planning and execution of major events, ensuring they align with strategic business goals and lead generation targets. This includes venue management, vendor coordination, logistics, and post-event analysisCollaborate closely with the channel sales team to manage regional level events, enhancing product awareness and driving increased Certified Installer onboardings and installationsOwns the end-to-end channel event request process (intake, prioritization, stakeholder communication) and maintains a centralized event calendar for internal transparencyServe as a critical support partner for Tesla’s highest-visibility Tier 1 events, working alongside event leads to keep complex, high-stakes programs running smoothly from planning through execution and wrap-up Plan and support distributor events and Installer roadshows, ensuring all logistical aspects are covered from setup to tear down.
