Position Summary This role is responsible for developing and maintaining demand forecasts, analyzing historical sales trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. The Demand Planning Analyst will partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment between demand plans and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to communicate insights effectively across all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track demand planning and overall supply chain performanceExecute demand planning activities, including loading, validating, and maintaining forecast data aligned with KPI targetsSupport forecasting processes by analyzing demand trends and validating forecast updates for accuracyBuild, run and maintain KPI reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel , and other analytics toolsIdentify, investigate, and report forecast variances, demand exceptions, and data discrepanciesConduct exception analysis related to demand shifts, forecast accuracy, and new product introductionsSupport inventory analysis and strategy for finished goods and raw materialsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate insights clearly to stakeholdersRun and manage core KPIs, ensuring accuracy and timely reportingAnalyze product lifecycle trends to support transitions, phase-ins/outs, and portfolio optimizationEvaluate inventory levels and contribute to strategies for both finished goods and raw materialsPartner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align on demand signals and planning assumptionsGenerate actionable insights through data analysis and effectively communicate findings to stakeholdersPrepare and present clear, concise reports and recommendations to leadership to support decision-making Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred2-4 years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data modeling and analysisExperience with Power BI, AI driven forecasting tools, and data visualization platforms preferredStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally across all levels of the organization This Opportunity Offers a Competitive Benefits Package Including Medical, dental, and vision coverage with wellness benefitsCompany-matching 401(k) planCompany-paid life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment benefitsCompany-paid identity theft insuranceCompany-paid disabilityFlexible spending and health savings accountsCompany-paid employee assistance programPaid time off and paid holidaysAdditional benefits included: voluntary life insurance, legal benefits, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and pet insurance Old World Industries is among the largest privately held companies competing in the automotive aftermarket today.
