About the role

Oakwood Group is looking for a data-driven, analytical Demand Analyst to join our MP&L team. This role plays a critical role in forecasting demand, optimizing inventory, and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical data, market trends, and statistical models to forecast product demand
• Work cross-functionally with: Customer Service & Account Management, Scheduling, EDI, and Logistics Teams, Engineering, Operations, IT, Finance, and Purchasing
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure business alignment and success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a business-related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of demand planning/forecasting experience in automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (IQMS preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (a plus)

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights

Skills
