Key Responsibilities

• Provide a premier training experience to 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier pilots in both Flight Training Devices and Flight Simulators.
• Operate flight training devices and flight simulators.
• Achieve and evaluate pilot performance and student ability to safely operate the aircraft.
• Lead interactive discussions and presentations.
• Adhere to approved curricula and logistical management of briefing room resources.
• Communicate effectively and listen actively.
• Assess and evaluate pilot performance and student ability to operate the aircraft safely.
• Be customer service-driven.

What You Need to Succeed

• Technology proficiency (Apple iPad tablet, MS PowerPoint).
• Experience as a flight simulator check airman or line check airman at a 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier.
• Accrued 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command at a 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier.
• Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Aircraft Multiengine Land Class.
• Pilot certification for Delta Air Lines or other DPS clients.
• Aircraft Type Rating in aircraft operated by Delta Air Lines or other DPS clients.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Consistently prioritize safety and security.

Starting Pay and Incentive

The starting pay is $62.11 per hour, with a pay increase to $74.54 per hour after 4 months of employment. Additional incentive pay is available for working late nights, weekends, holidays, special events, and exceeding 17 events in a calendar month.
