About the role
The Brand Representative (BA) will primarily be responsible for building relationships and brand awareness inside retail stores, on behalf of Dell. The ideal candidate is a “people-person” who can cultivate relationships and build excitement about the Dell brand and products. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create thoughtful and positive interactions with both store associates and prospective customers alike.
Responsibilities
- Leverage relationships to aid in selling, training, and merchandising Dell products throughout the specified market.
- Work closely with store management to foster sales-driving activities with associates.
- Schedule and facilitate sales and product training with front-line store associates and managers.
- Ensure current products are displayed, functional, and clean.
- Set Retail Display Resets and Refreshes as needed within assigned markets.
- Opportunity to travel for Merchandising throughout the nation.
- Drive sales productivity through high-quality sales interactions with customers.
- Effectively assess and communicate on-site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral, etc.
- Educate customers while making product recommendations.
- Meet or exceed personal sales productivity goals and key metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Accurately document and report sales, schedules, activities, and best practices.
- Collect customer feedback and provide sales/marketing channel insight and recommendations.
- Set and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations and ensure all brand standards are followed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred.
- 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation.
- Strong multi-tasking skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment.
- Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage.
