About the role
The Box Truck Driver operates a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading products, documenting trip data, performing warehouse duties, and ensuring safe driving practices.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload products at customer sites, using a dolly or hand truck if needed.
- Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues.
- Perform warehouse-related duties when not making deliveries.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Current driver's license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years).
- DOT physical.
- Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
- The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
