Delivery Truck Driver

About the role

A CDL-A Driver safely operates tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver and unload food and related products, ensuring timely arrivals and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Perform safety checks and inspections according to DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT and company safe driving policies, reporting hazards promptly.
• Load, unload, and verify products, ensuring proper documentation and secure freight.
• Deliver orders on scheduled routes, obtain signatures, and handle cash or checks if required.
• Manage equipment securement, damage control, and trailer cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours and complete all required paperwork.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and a valid CDL-A.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Ability to pass drug, background, and road tests.
• Ability to lift freight ranging from 10 to 90 pounds and operate relevant equipment.
• Meet all licensing and certification requirements, including DOT Health Card.
