Delivery Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking a delivery truck driver to join our team in Rochester, NY. This position requires physical strength and the ability to work in non-climate controlled environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while adhering to Amarr’s policies.
  • Keep all drivers’ certification documents ready and available for display.
  • Assist in the completion of production orders in the warehouse when not driving.
  • Accurately load and unload customers, inspecting for damaged materials.
  • Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
  • Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
  • Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
  • Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program.
  • Motor vehicle report must meet Amarr’s driver standards.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Details

  • This position is Monday - Friday from 7am – 4pm, with flexibility for early or late deliveries.
  • The pay rate is $22-27/hr based on experience, skill sets, and training.
  • Additional compensation includes driving bonuses and target bonuses.
