Delivery Supervisor, Mid Shift - Indianapolis (4 Day Work Week!)

About the role

This position has primary responsibility for coordinating delivery operations including routing, delivering, and backhauling activities for our Indianapolis location.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage assigned delivery driver personnel
• Oversee driver scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product
• Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy, and productivity
• Coordinate all safety activities for delivery staff
• Manage the efficiency of the delivery routes using routing software
• Interface with customers to resolve discrepancies, problems, and build cohesive relationships
• Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with sales, warehouse, delivery, and customer service departments

Requirements

• 2-year associate degree
• 3+ years of experience in delivery operations
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and barcode scanning technology
• Proficient in the use of RoadNet delivery routing software
• Familiar with GPS tracking software
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and internet applications
• AS400 experience preferred

Pay

$70,000–$80,000 annual compensation, depending on experience

Schedule

10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday
