About the Role
As a Delivery Stream Engineer II, you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse – from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. You will evaluate all suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager, including working with customers and reporting for opportunities related to Westinghouse APx Supply Chain. This is a mobile/hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA, reporting to the Delivery Stream Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure personal, industrial, and nuclear safety as a fundamental part of the role.
- Supplier Assessment Guide/Support:
- Supplier identification and down-selection.
- Improve and support completion of supplier audits and technical evaluations.
- Promote and support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations.
- Supplier Oversight:
- Create manufacturing and process plan estimates for design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
- Build Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
- Supplier Development & Management:
- Create agendas and lead kick-off meetings with suppliers.
- Conduct scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly) with suppliers and Westinghouse project support team members.
- Manage and improve Westinghouse project support team execution.
- Manage execution of required supplier QA witness and hold points.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).
- 4+ years of experience in the Power Generation, Nuclear Industries, Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, or Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of programming software is helpful.
- Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues and supplier development.
- Must be a U.S. citizen to meet criteria for access to partner and client technologies and comply with import/export control laws and regulations.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $85,200 to $106,500 per year, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
