About the role
As a Delivery Stream Engineer II, you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse – from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. You will also evaluate all suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager. This evaluation will include working with customers and reporting for opportunities related to Westinghouse APx Supply Chain. You will report to the Delivery Stream Manager and work a mobile/hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA.
Responsibilities
- Ensure personal, industrial, and nuclear safety as a fundamental part of the job.
- Supplier Assessment Guide/Support
- Supplier Identification and down selection.
- Improve/Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations.
- Promote/Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations.
- Supplier Oversight
- Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
- Build Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
- Supplier Development & Management
- Create Agendas and Lead Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers.
- Conduct scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members.
- Manage/Improve Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution.
- Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries or Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, or Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of programming software is helpful.
- Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.
- US Citizen. Must meet criteria for access to partner's and client's technologies and meet import/export control laws and regulations.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
