Delivery Specialist - Hub

About the Role

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on a set route and deliver to the appropriate store.
• Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure.
• Ensure designated team members at each store verify all invoices and sign the route manifest.
• Make deliveries according to a set schedule and report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on the route.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.

Requirements

• Must have a legal state driver's license and meet company-mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Familiarity with accident report guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Skills

• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
