Delivery Specialist - Hub

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers.
• Maintain a legal state driver’s license and meet company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the set route and deliver them to the appropriate store.
• Maintain a daily city‑route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep the fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure.
• Follow accident‑report guidelines.
• Ensure the designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
• Make deliveries according to the set schedule and report any delays to the city delivery supervisor or remaining stores on the route.
• Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager.
• Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock/secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Drive safely and defensively.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18‑point record system.

Desired Qualifications

• Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired.
