Main Duties
- Transport furniture goods to customer locations accurately and on schedule
- Carefully load and unload items from delivery trucks
- Check furniture for any damages before and after delivery
- Assemble furniture on-site when required
- Offer outstanding customer support throughout the delivery and setup process
- Keep the delivery vehicle tidy, organized, and in good condition
- Fill out all delivery and installation documentation accurately and on time
Requirements
- Completion of high school or equivalent education
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
- Previous experience in furniture delivery or similar roles is a plus
- Capable of lifting heavy furniture (up to 100 lbs) with assistance
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
