Delivery Senior Consultant, Workday Integrations

About the role

The Deloitte Enterprise Performance team works on enterprise technology projects, focusing on areas like finance, supply chain, and IT operations. We collaborate with leading solution providers and leverage our deep industry knowledge to deliver holistic performance improvements and digital transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Transition/Ramp-up: Learn Financials integration inventory, schedules, dependencies, monitoring approach, and rerun procedures; review interface catalog and runbooks.
  • Understand Upstream/Downstream Impacts: Understand the effects of changes on Accounting, Spend, Banking, and Grants operations.
  • Day-One Surge Support (Hypercare/Stabilization): Monitor and diagnose integration failures; coordinate data fixes and controlled reruns.
  • Steady-State Operate (O&M): Provide operational support for Financials integrations, including monitoring, incident/problem management, rerun governance, and documentation.
  • Innovate & Optimize: Identify opportunities to improve integration reliability and efficiency; contribute to complex enhancements and mini-projects.

Requirements

  • Workday Integrations Certified and/or Workday Accounting Center Certified
  • 5+ years of experience supporting the design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations
  • 4+ years of experience with one or more Workday integration technologies such as EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, BIRT, or Workday web services/APIs
  • 4+ years of experience with incident updates, documenting root causes, and coordinating with functional leads and vendors
  • 4+ years of experience working on triage, issue resolution, and incident management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
  • Experience with Workday Integrations and related technologies
  • Experience with incident management and coordination
  • Experience with triage and issue resolution

Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements

  • Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia).
  • Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location.
  • Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes.
  • Relocation Requirement: Complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance.
