About the role

The role is within the Deloitte Customer team, which focuses on enhancing customer experiences and driving growth through innovative strategies, advanced analytics, and transformative technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization - APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc
• Perform independent code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Initiate, lead, and deliver Salesforce projects, including maintaining a role in developing and designing architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of total IT experience with at least 6+ years of Salesforce project development experience
• Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and knowledge)
• Experience in UI technologies like JavaScript, Lightning Design System, and Lightning Web Components
• Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle, DevOps, and Deployment tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, ANT, Change Sets and Force.com IDE
• Experience in integration techniques - REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth and Single Sign-On
• Experience with code reviews, leading teams, or projects

Team

The team is part of Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice, serving federal, state, and local government clients as well as public higher education institutions. They design and implement sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures to bring customer strategies to life.

Deloitte US Delivery Center

• Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia))
• Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
• Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
• Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance

Preferred

• Certifications in the following areas - Certified Platform Developer I, Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, OmniStudio, AgentForce Specialist
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and bugs related to Salesforce applications and integrations
• Project Experience with ETL tools like MuleSoft or Informatica Cloud
• Experience implementing advanced Salesforce security models in complex, multi-role organizations
• Experience building secure public-facing Experience Cloud portals
• Experience designing scalable, high-volume, or asynchronous integration architecture
• Experience in Government and Public Sector
