Delivery Professional

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Delivery Professional to join our team at our Memphis, TN Service Center. As a Delivery Professional, you will serve as a primary ambassador to our valued customers, delivering high-quality caskets and other products to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including prepping, loading and unloading caskets, inventory management, and maintaining an organized workspace.
• Provide friendly and welcoming customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous delivery driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a current driver’s license (CDL is NOT required).
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical and MVR Check.
• Maintain a safe driving record, demonstrating responsible and cautious driving behavior.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Physical Aspects / Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment may be high.

Pay

$21 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, 25–29 hours per week.
• Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM until finish (home by early afternoon).
