About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Delivery Professional to join our team at our Salt Lake City, UT Service Center. This position is responsible for delivering new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans, as well as contributing to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including prepping, loading and unloading caskets, inventory management, and maintaining an organized workspace.
• Provide friendly and welcoming customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule

Monday - Friday (Saturdays on occasion), 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Pay

Starting pay: $21 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a current driver’s license (CDL is NOT required).
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical and MVR Check.
• Maintain a safe driving record, demonstrating responsible and cautious driving behavior.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Previous delivery driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and planning skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
• Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Physical Aspects

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk, hear, and see.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment may be high.
