Delivery & Production Finishing Specialist

About the role

The Production Finishing Specialist is responsible for the finishing and completion of projects in the center, including staging/preparation of completed jobs for delivery or shipment to clients. Located at 1205 Linda Vista Dr. Suite A, San Marcos, CA 92078, AlphaGraphics is an established leader in the Printing, Marketing, and Design industry, partnering with customers from local small businesses to Fortune 500 organizations to provide tools and expertise for growth. The tight‑knit team at AlphaGraphics – US554 seeks a full‑time Bindery/Production Finishing Specialist to operate finishing equipment and contribute to the success of local businesses.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing of projects.
• Work under pressure and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Operate finishing machine devices such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production finishing machines available in the center to facilitate final assembly of finished products.
• Maintain records, such as daily production records, using specified forms.
• Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by the owner or manager of the center.
• Perform any other essential functions/duties needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output.

Qualifications / Skills

• 2+ years of experience operating finishing equipment associated with the print, signage, or related industries.
• Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Problem‑solving skills and cooperative interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multi‑tasking.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over a waist‑high table.
• Strong multi‑tasking ability.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload.
