Delivery Prep Specialist - Part Time

About the role

Join Nebraska Furniture Mart’s Delivery Preparation team and assemble and inspect products to ensure merchandise is perfect before delivery to customers. Responsibilities

• Handle products safely to prevent damage and ensure personal safety.
• Use mechanical aids such as flats, dollies, box cutters, and power tools efficiently.
• Assemble products using hand tools and detailed instructions.
• Inspect work to ensure products meet high-quality standards, appearing and functioning as custom-made.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• 6 months’ labor or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull required weights per department guidelines.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check.

Pay

$17.85 - $22.22 hourly
