About the Role
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing the truck for the following day and maintaining the truck and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs., carrying materials such as drywall and joint compound.
- Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time.
- Constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job sites.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. while unloading and loading flatbeds.
- Work in an outside environment while making deliveries.

Pay
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $0.00 to $25.00 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.
