Delivery Helper

Pay

$20.00 – $25.00 per hour. Pay structure during Deliveries is pay-per-stop; during warehouse activities it is paid per hour.

Join our crew as a Delivery Helper where your day will be a mix of warehouse organization, appliance handling, and supporting delivery operations—without being in the driver’s seat every day.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with delivery drivers to assist in unloading and installing appliances at customer locations.
• Help ensure accurate deliveries by double-checking orders and confirming items with customers.
• Safely lift and maneuver heavy appliances in and out of homes or businesses.
• Represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service during every delivery.
• Occasionally drive a 26’ box truck if needed (must meet driving requirements—DOT medical certification).

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Previous experience as a delivery truck helper required (2 years).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical skills are preferred.
• Familiarity with using equipment such as pallet jacks for loading and unloading.
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the strictest safety standards.
• Great teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to a mix of warehouse and delivery support duties.

Your Work Environment

• Work in a warehouse setting with occasional outdoor exposure.
• Physically demanding role involving lifting, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Vision and spatial awareness needed for safe handling of appliances and tools.
