Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment, including ovens and computers.
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
- Prepare pizza and other menu items.
- Receive and process telephone orders, both over the phone and in person.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Deliver pizzas and promotional materials (e.g., flyers, door hangers) to customers within a designated area.
- Navigate multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including stairs and multi-story buildings.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, writing, and telephone abilities to process orders.
- Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make correct monetary change quickly.
- Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks or deliveries.
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
- Hot surfaces and tools, including ovens up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Sensory requirements: talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Far and night vision required for driving.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces. Work surfaces range from 36" to 48" in height.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer's location.
- Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table in an office area.
- Lifting: Unload bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) using a hand truck. Stack cases onto shelves up to 72" high. Carry large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
- Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
- Climbing: Navigate stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance. Delivery personnel may need to navigate five or more flights of stairs.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is required at the pizza assembly station and when stocking ingredients. Duration can be 30-45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously.
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally required for stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.
- Reaching: Continuous reaching up, down, and forward for tasks like turning on/off oven controls, changing prices, lifting objects, scooping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
- Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.

- Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment.
- Pizza cutter, pizza peel.
