Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment and prepare product.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area.
• Distribute flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for making correct monetary change and performing calculations quickly.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed while standing on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds, lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Items such as pizza sauce (up to 30 pounds), trays of pizza dough (12 pounds per tray), and pizzas/beverages during delivery.
• Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to move.
• Climbing: Navigating stairs or ladders for tasks like changing signs, maintenance, or delivering to multi-story buildings.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist for tasks like pizza assembly and stocking ingredients.
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally required for stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.
• Reaching: Continuous reaching up, down, and forward for tasks like obtaining ingredients, cleaning, or operating equipment.
• Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather: Adverse conditions when performing outside tasks or delivering orders.
• Temperature fluctuations: In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas, with sudden changes.
• Environmental factors: Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Sensory requirements: Talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision for tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Far and night vision required for driving.
• Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, and make judgments/decisions.
