Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, and take inventory.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car to customers' doors, including navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for making correct monetary change and performing quick calculations.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering or performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces (up to 500°F or higher), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Physical demands include standing for most tasks, walking short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying trays of dough (12 lbs each) or pizza sauce (30 lbs), pushing dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching.
• Frequent use of hands for tasks such as shaping dough, using a pizza peel, cutting pizza, assembling boxes, and handling equipment like phones and calculators.

Skills

• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and handle stress.
• Strong quality control, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
• Far and night vision for driving, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
