Safely drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
Conducts daily pre-trip inspection of any tractor, trailer or pod equipment prior to departing warehouse.
Maintains all applicable DOT paperwork and documentation as required.
Uses electronic devices to record start and stop times on our time clock device assuring hours of service are recorded and remain in compliance with DOT Regulations accurately and consistently.
Performs routine maintenance on tractor and trailer which includes transporting to/from the servicing vendor location.
Communicates with management any and all deviations to the normal job responsibilities.
Completes training assignments by management in a timely manner, including but not limited to Worklete and Pro-Tread.
Will be monitored via DriveCam while performing job duties.

Delivers loads on trailer to mass box stores such as Total Wine, club stores and any other large loads.
Assists at times in delivering orders on 14' to 26' box trucks.
Delivers loaded straight trailer to the warehouse of origin to be loaded for next day deliveries, assuring all products to be returned and/or credited are returned to the warehouse daily.
Coordinates emergency repairs and/or service with applicable vendors while communicating with management.
Communicate with management any and all deviations to the normal job responsibilities.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have experience operating a tractor with automatic and manual transmission.
