Delivery Driver (Part-Time)

About the role

The Delivery Driver ensures the safe and timely delivery of cannabis products to customers, adhering to all regulatory requirements, company policies, and protocols to maintain compliance and high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver cannabis products to customers within designated delivery areas.
• Verify and validate customer identification and age to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, customer information, and any issues encountered.
• Handle and transport cannabis products with care, ensuring they remain secure and undamaged during transit.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to vehicle maintenance, safety, and security.
• Create efficient routes and, if applicable, communicate effectively with the dispatch team to receive and report delivery assignments and updates.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
• Assist with tasks in the store when no deliveries are scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and meet all state and local regulatory requirements for cannabis delivery.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle and transport cannabis products in compliance with state regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous delivery experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Missouri Only: Must possess a Class E (Chauffeur’s) License, or be willing to acquire one.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to spend multiple hours sitting in a vehicle to perform deliveries.
