Position Summary
U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a professional driver to manage tire, undercar parts, and lubricant deliveries. Schedules vary between Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm or 10:30am - 7:00pm, plus rotating Saturdays. Duties include driving a box truck, completing logs, making deliveries, and handling various physical tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes, making 10-20 deliveries/day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records
- Make on-time deliveries at customer locations in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
- Lift up to 80 pounds consistently, occasionally up to 50 pounds, and exert up to 40 pounds of pushing force
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment when needed
- Operate a handheld device to fulfill deliveries and collect payments
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi)
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds and exert up to 40 pounds of pushing force
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Valid DOT Medical Card

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions and fumes associated with tires and car parts.
- Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline).
