Delivery Driver - Non CDL

About the role

We are in search of a Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to join our growing team. This role is responsible for distributing products promptly to our customers. Drivers will transport, select, and deliver products to designated customers as directed by an immediate supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery of customer’s order as outlined by the delivery ticket.
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Convey products and materials from truck to customer’s designated storage areas.
• Follow routes and time schedules.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Complete logs and reports.
• Ensure accurate documentation for all delivered merchandise.
• Prevent damage to company equipment, facilities, and products; ensure proper cleanliness of delivery equipment at all times.
• Follow applicable safety guidelines, government regulations, company’s safety manuals, and stated safety policies.
• Follow up with all customer inquiries to ensure appropriate response and customer satisfaction.
• May be requested to work in the warehouse on occasion.
• Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in deliveries.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
• Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s, and perform these operations using units of US money, weight measurements, volume, and distance.
• Familiarity with the location and surrounding areas.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and lift.
