Responsibilities

Deliver material to customer job sites
Build loads for delivery and unload freight, including lumber and building supplies
Forklift training, certification, and operation
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse
Communicate delays or discrepancies with management
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old
Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle
Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
Complete or have completed a driver's road test and possess a valid and current certificate of driver's road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license
Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Pay

$17 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 45–48 hours per week (5–8 hours of overtime per week)
