Delivery Driver (non-CDL)

About the role

White Cap is North America’s leading distributor for professional contractors, supplying everything needed to build remarkable construction projects—including stadiums, roads, bridges, highways, and residential housing. As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you’ll coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites while adhering to DOT regulations, maintaining vehicle safety, and ensuring accurate paperwork. You may also assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain vehicle safety through adherence to strict maintenance schedules and regular inspections.
• Ensure manifests and all delivery paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possesses or can obtain a DOT medical card.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience in a related role.
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for the class of vehicle operated and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of verifiable commercial driving experience, preferably in a delivery or distribution environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, including familiarity with DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate effectively and represent the company professionally.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including order pulling, shipping/receiving, and delivery documentation.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet business and delivery demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
