Delivery Driver - Long Term Care

About the Role

Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long-term care facilities while ensuring total customer satisfaction. Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
  • Comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent.
  • Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery.
  • Schedule delivery route in the most efficient manner to ensure timely delivery with the least travel required.
  • Complete all paperwork and ensure proper filing.
  • Perform all necessary vehicle maintenance on the company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior.
  • Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintain customer service levels as needed.
  • Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities.
  • Keep current with all State and Federal requirements related to conditions of employment.
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Read and sign the Fleet Management Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED.
  • Basic math skills necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Limited lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in a related position.
  • Required for Vermont Employees: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Required for New Hampshire Employees: Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.

Pay

$18.00 per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
