About the Role
Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of orders to long-term care facilities while ensuring total customer satisfaction. Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
- Comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent.
- Accurately package and prepare items for facility delivery.
- Schedule delivery route in the most efficient manner to ensure timely delivery with minimal travel.
- Complete all paperwork and ensure proper filing.
- Perform necessary vehicle maintenance on the company delivery vehicle, including interior and exterior upkeep.
- Greet customers using appropriate greetings and maintain customer service levels.
- Pick up medications and/or supplies from other facilities.
- Keep current with all State and Federal requirements related to conditions of employment.
- Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Read and sign the Fleet Management Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing.
- Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
- High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED (minimum).
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont employees).
- Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician (New Hampshire employees).
Qualifications
- Basic math skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
- Limited lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Preferred: 0-2 years of previous experience in a related position.
Pay
$10.61 - $14.94 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
