Delivery Driver Local - DOT CDL A (Lufkin)

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Perform product deliveries along assigned routes, inspect vehicle equipment and supplies, assemble orders, manage multiple assignments, report problems, and maintain records.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Must know and adhere to DOT and FMCSA regulations
• At least 1 year of route driving experience required
• DOT certification required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residence

Physical Requirements

• Able to perform repetitive lifting of over 50lbs., occasional lifting over 100lbs.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must be able to walk extensively
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend at the waist, stoop, and squat to lift heavy items in a proper manner
• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs
• Able to read numbers and product descriptions

Driver Safety

Use of dash cameras leveraging AI for recognizing safe driving, capturing safety events, and improving driver safety performance. Drivers must sign a driver consent form upon hire.
