Delivery Driver - Knoxville, TN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sets out to deliver products to customers according to developed schedules and routes.
• Operates vehicles safely in accordance with all State and Federal regulations, considering weather and road conditions.
• Completes pre/post-trip inspection sheets and notifies the Transportation Manager of any discrepancies.
• Maintains load conditions and uses approved load-locks and tools to minimize product breakage and vehicle damage.
• Ensures the assigned vehicle is clean at the end of each shift.
• Handles, delivers, and works with all products ordered by customers.
• Delivers products according to invoices and customer requirements, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Uses electronic devices to accurately record start and stop times, ensuring compliance with DOT Regulations.
• Provides input on routes and communicates shortages and overages to the Company.
• Collects payments based on terms established by the Company and Tennessee state laws.
• Completes required training assignments and reports any changes to driver license status or citations.
• Represents the Company by wearing the proper work uniform and maintaining a neat appearance.
• Resolves issues with customers or communicates them to the Company for resolution.

Salary: $50,500 Annually

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three months related experience or training
• Valid Driver License with F endorsement
• Current DOT Medical Card
