Delivery Driver - DME

Job Responsibilities

• Make oxygen deliveries (liquid oxygen, cylinder, and concentrator) and equipment checks on a daily route as determined by customer base and routing system
• Deliveries may include refilling reservoirs with liquid oxygen from a truck mounted tank
• Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the facility and at the center
• Package equipment for shipment to the manufacturer or their designee for repairs requiring other than minor repair work
• Maintain equipment according to the manufacturer's recommended schedule
• Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner
• Complete daily inspections and fill out proper paperwork
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule
• Clean rental equipment when returned to the center in accordance with policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
• Follow FDA guidelines for cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing
• Comply with policies outlined in the operations manual and training manuals, including those in the Safety & Regulatory manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (adherence to the Vehicle Safety Disciplinary Policy), FDA, and Emergency Planning
• Work as an on-call service representative evenings and weekends on an as scheduled basis
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner and record information on Service Call Report
• Serve as a backup to other employees
• Complete tablet work as required, especially when dealing with inventory
