Delivery Driver/Distribution Center Specialist (FIRST SHIFT)

About the role

• Safely deliver solar products in perfect condition to customers
• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service
• Pick, pack, and load orders for delivery
• Inspect delivery vehicles and ensure safety and security throughout the process
• Maintain accurate inventory, inspect incoming products, and expedite product movement
• Uphold tidiness standards and contribute to process-improvement solutions
• Actively participate in the company’s safety program

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• 2+ years of recent experience driving 26’ box trucks and/or flatbeds in a distribution environment
• Experience driving a forklift in a distribution setting (required)
• Experience with manual/electric pallet jack, lift gate, and tarping
• Ability to interact courteously with customers
• Recent experience using computer terminals and scanning software
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move heavy equipment/supplies
