Delivery Driver- CDL Required

About the role

This position is accountable for the delivery of pre-sold products to customers’ locations throughout servicing counties. This is a front-line role working directly with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Check in with Delivery Supervisor daily upon arrival and check for any special instructions for the day
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections of vehicle and follow DOT regulations
• Ensure proper vehicle registration and insurance documents, as well as accident kits, are present in vehicle
• Deliver required product to locations as specified by order in a safe and timely fashion, following the delivery schedule unless authorized deviations by Sales Manager or Delivery Manager/Supervisor
• Review daily tasks with assigned Delivery Driver Assistant and ensure they are performing tasks as instructed
• Notify Delivery Supervisor of any issues or needs
• Deliver merchandise, off-loading items using company-provided equipment, to customers along a predetermined delivery route in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain personal productivity and quality standards, following systems and procedures outlined in training
• Complete all required documents pertaining to delivery, pick up, and DOT regulations
• Check product dates, rotate wells, windows, back stock, and displays per company and suppliers’ procedures, and handle swaps per company procedures
• Build displays per Account Manager request and ensure cooler and back stock are clean and organized
• Clean up all trash at the account and dispose of properly
