About the role

A Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering products to an assigned account base and territory. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently or in small groups, and a passion for a fast-paced environment in the beverage alcohol industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on a daily basis.
• Deliver products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers and fellow associates.
• Assist the warehouse as needed.
• Understand and follow safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Secure company property at all times, including cash, checks, and the company vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and effective workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain a valid standard driver’s license and meet insurance requirements.
• Must have and maintain a CDL Class A Driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical (if holding a CDL).
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts if needed.
• Strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
• Positive attitude, excellent attendance record, and a strong work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 165 lbs occasionally and 25+ lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Must be able to continually move on your feet, climb in and out of the truck, and navigate stairs.
• Required to stand, balance, walk, climb stairs, sit, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and have specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Schedule

Tuesday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Additional hours may be required.

Pay

$22 per hour.
