Delivery Driver

About the role

This position provides safe delivery of prepared orders of Sushi, delivers and picks up mail from various units on campus as well as Marketing materials, while operating business vehicles. It includes money handling and deposit responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, load, and unload CDS delivery vehicle.
• Drive to and from assignments, delivering food orders to units, deliver and pick up mail.
• Deliver Marketing materials and Staples orders to various units.
• Maintain high sanitary, hygienic, and safety standards and conditions.
• Perform general cleaning, other food service duties, and projects as requested by management.

Requirements

• Valid NYS driver’s license with clean, safe driving record.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience required.
• Verifiable experience with cash handling and the ability to make change accurately.
• Able to prioritize work and execute tasks with speed, efficiency, and accuracy, in a high-volume environment.
• Able to work independently and part of a team to fulfill customer orders.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English, and have accurate math skills.
• Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and hygiene.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.

$17.00/hr (Union Employees: See Appendix “A” of Union contract)
