Delivery Driver

Position Responsibilities

• Load truck/van for deliveries ensuring the material is correct and secure.
• Create shipping Manifests for all deliveries.
• Record mileage, expenses encountered, and document pre and post trip inspections on vehicle.
• Observe all safety regulations while successfully operating up to a 26’ box truck.
• Receive incoming materials, check customer RMA against actual merchandise, and inspect material for defects.
• Utilize RF guns to stock shelves and pull material to fill current orders, back-orders, will calls, and inter-branch transfers, ensuring correct quantity and customer specifications.
• Pack and ship materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
• Receive and hang reels of wire in designated area.
• Cut wire to customer specification for counter, will call and other specific sales orders when needed.
• Post purchase orders and other related data into the computer system.
• Solve related problems and notify supervisor as necessary.
• Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 4:00am - 12:30pm
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of Box-Truck delivery driving experience (CDL is not required)
