• Pay: Starting pay $21.75/hour, plus overtime (paid at 1.5x) and/or bonuses

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Successfully handle & deliver packages on time
• Safely drive & perform safety inspections on Company vehicles
• Work in all weather, lighting & road conditions & on various routes
• Comply with all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, & Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service & satisfaction despite stressful events &/or conditions
• Communicate effectively with team to provide exceptional customer service & ensure deliveries are completed
• Effectively use smart phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, & communicating with management & other team members
• Keep pace in physically demanding job by repeatedly getting in & out of van throughout the day at various locations & walking & climbing steps/stairs to deliver packages to the customer's doorstep
• Load, sort, & unload 150 or more packages (ranging from envelopes to boxes) into & out of the delivery vehicle
• Lift & lower packages weighing up to 50lbs on a frequent basis; tilt, push & slide packages weighing between 50-70lbs on & off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis
• Work independently. Delivery drivers spend most of the day on the road and are responsible for the cleanliness, safe operation, & maneuvering of their delivery vehicle
• Work within a team. Delivery drivers have a 24/7 driver hotline for support, and delivery drivers support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need help

Qualifications Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old & legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license (non CDL position; delivery experience not required)
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
• Must successfully pass a 4-panel drug screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must be able to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
