Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities of a delivery driver include:
- Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
- Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles
- Work in all weather, lighting, and road conditions and on various routes
- Comply with all local and state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events and/or conditions
- Communicate effectively with the team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
- Effectively use a smartphone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements, and communicating with management and other team members
- Load, sort, and unload 150 or more packages into and out of the delivery vehicle
- Lift and lower packages weighing up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
- Work independently and within a team
Requirements
Qualifications requirements for a delivery driver include:
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license (non-CDL position; delivery experience not required)
- Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills
- Must successfully pass a 4-panel drug screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
- Must be able to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

Schedule
Shifts start at 11am, are usually 10 hours/day, and are available 7 days/week. Full-time drivers work a flexible schedule of typically 4 days (40 hours) per week. Part-time drivers work between 1-3 days (less than 40 hours) per week. Minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break.
