About the role
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the company representative interacting with clients daily. This role offers full-time employment, great pay and benefits, and opportunities for career advancement within a stable, growing company.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and drop off automotive parts while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, accuracy of charges, and customer satisfaction.
- Follow directions from dispatchers, adhere to assigned routes, use route navigation apps, and adjust routes as necessary to deliver packages on time.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with customer operations.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Accept payments, prepare reports (invoices, return forms), reconcile debt and credit, and manage all moneys collected related to deliveries.
- Complete daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicles and notify management of any issues.
- Assist with other store/warehouse duties (stocking, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
- Maintain and promote workplace safety, including securing and transferring cash or other assets.
Requirements
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
- Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 lbs).
- Prolonged sitting during deliveries.
Skills
- Ability to manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
- Proficiency in using tablets/mobile devices for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
- Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate professionally, tactfully, and diplomatically.
- Ability to take and follow directions and work well as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work overtime as needed.
- Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.

Pay
Minimum USD $16.00/Hr.
