About the role
You will serve as a critical field asset, driving the successful and safe transportation of goods and materials to support our regional operations. This role allows you to operate independently on the road while receiving the full backing and respect of a tight-knit corporate team.
Responsibilities
- Execute safe loading and unloading procedures for all shipments, including heavy equipment and mechanical items.
- Operate and drive commercial delivery vehicles over long distances while strictly maintaining project delivery schedules.
- Follow assigned transit routes and company safety procedures to minimize transport risks and delays.
- Inspect company vehicles before and after trips to ensure full operational safety and preventative maintenance.
- Communicate professionally with customers and jobsite contacts to represent company service standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily delivery logs, transit paperwork, and fuel receipts.
Requirements
- Possession of an active driver's license with a verified clean driving record.
- Physical capability and demonstrated ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
- Comfortable and capable of driving long hours and distances.
- Strong organizational traits including being dependable, punctual, and highly safety-focused.
Qualifications
- Prior professional delivery driving experience or commercial transport experience.
- Demonstrated experience in navigating regional transit routes efficiently.
- Basic familiarity with commercial logging and transit paperwork coordination.
